I am a political analyst about to receive my M.A. in Political Science, specializing in International Relations and Comparative Politics. I also have an M.A. in International Studies. I worked overseas as a copy editor for an online Russian economic news agency, and wrote instant news releases for Russia's largest mobile phone service.
I have experience working in a NGO at a small liberal arts college. While at this NGO, I edited institutional websites and managed publications, including desktop publishing. I was a crucial part of organizing a major conference. While in college, I was an opinion editorialist for a publication for two years. Earlier, I was a news reporter and features writer for the standard college publication.
Earlier, I worked as an office assistant for a college psychology department for a year, and for student support services for a semester. I also mentored, which helped develop my skills connecting with young people.
While in high school, I was the spokesman for an award-winning youth group. I also worked part-time in inbound and outbound telemarketing for over a year. I am not afraid of public speaking or speaking with strangers over the telephone.
I am an experienced and effective blogger, who is now beginning to learn the ropes of blog networking. My goal is to work at a private college and to become a free-lance writer.
